Apartment to Rent
Estepona, Costa del Sol,
Andalucia,
Spain

Estepona: A dream come true. a truly Spanish fishing village, bathed by the Mediterranean with 21 kilometres of beaches, nestling under the Sierra Bermeja, a mountainous range which, within the whole of Europe, is the closest to the sea.  Its altitude of 1,450 meters provides a special microclimate, which protects Estepona from the cold North winds.  This guarantees mild temperatures throughout the year.  Estepona is magic.

You couldn't wish for a better placed apartment.  El Faro (The Lighthouse), is a frontline location, overlooking the Marina and fishing port.  It is only a few minutes walk to the beach, or the restaurants in the port and only ten minutes walk from Estepona old town, with its shops, cafes, tapas bars, restaurants and night life.

The apartment is modern, spacious, and luxuriously furnished with two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite with bidet, bath & shower. The other has a shower).  There is a spacious lounge and dining area (seats six), a separate kitchen and a laundry room with washing machine.

If you want to cook your own gourmet meal, there is a cooker fridge/freezer, microwave and all the cooking utensils you could ever need.  There is also a dishwasher - so you don't have to wash your own dishes.

A large, sunny, south facing balcony overlooks the fishing port, marina and private enclosed swimming pool, which also has fantastic views of Gibraltar and Morocco.   The pool has toilets and disabled facilities including a hoist.  If you want a quite night in; satellite television, video recorder and hi-fi with CD, radio and tape deck are provided for your pleasure/relaxation.

If you want a relaxed holiday, then look no further.  Sit on our sunny balcony watching the fishing boats and yachts sailing out, returning in the evening.  Have a morning swim, and sunbath around our pool then, after a light lunch on the balcony overlooking the marina, sunbath on the beach, which is only a few minutes walk away.

In the evening, either saunter to the marina and choose your restaurant or, take a walk into the old town, and eat el fresco in Calle Real.

If you would like an after dinner coffee, or a delectable ice cream, stroll along the mosaic of lime white streets and cosy squares, between scents of jasmine and orange blossom, to Plaza de las Flores, where the locals meet for coffee, liquors, ices, and a chat.  Afterwards, take a romantic walk home to El Faro along the beach, maybe calling in at one or two Chiringuitos (beach bars) on the way.

The character of Estepona is impossible to describe.  You will have to experience it for yourself.   It is so tranquil and relaxed in a sensual sort of way.  As is our apartment.

Before I forget, just behind the apartment is the Bullring.  As well as bullfights, there are also concerts and performances.  If you don't want to buy a ticket, you can watch what is going on from the roof of El Faro.

Nothing could be more romantic than El Faro, Estepona on the Riviera Andalucia.
